2000acre organic dairy farm, im head tractor driver, and do all the ploughing culturvating drilling, rolling topping, i do all the ground work, we currently grow wheat barley and oats, other jobs muckspreading mucking out cow sheds, cows were all loose housed and bedded down twice a day, though a straw chopper, I do all the TMR feeding and maintenance of clamps, I do all the tractor and machinery services and maintenance, other jobs calf rearing, relief milking 160 cows, bail carting, fencing, chainsawing, maintenance of farm and estate, ive just finished my AI course, chainsaw trained, angle grinder and adbrahsive wheel trained, ive done my first aid course, have my ticket for an atv and telehandler ticket, vet & med course.I started my first ever proper tractor driving job in February 2009 on a 1000acre dairy farm, from doing all the ground work apart from drilling, I'd do all the mowing a rowing up for silaging, and bailing and wrapping any silage bales, we could make upto nearly 3000 bales, also I would bale all the straw bales too. My machinery experience, TMR feeding using a John Deere 6930 using a twin tub mixer wagon, loading the feeder wagon with a jcb telehandler, maintaining & servicing tractors eg, oil & filter changes, greasing tractors & machinery, blowing out radiators keeping everything topped up with oil & water, Front mounted bail spreader, and sand dispersed, ploughing with a 5 furour plough, cultivating, rolling, slitting, slurry guzzler, muck carting, mowing, topping, rowing up with a class 3 into 1.and spreading grass, an all in one Kuhn bailier & wrapper. silage carting, bail carting and hedge cutting, and using a mini digger.

I have a lot of experience working with cattle, milking doing TMR rations, heat detection, calving, I also have a good eye for spotting any problems with stock. Milking experience milking 220 Holstein fresians though a 18/36 westfalia surge, with ADF swing over. I'm confident on finding mastitis and giving treatment, My current job position were spring and Autumn calving so I've got a lot of experience with calving and calf rearing too, Previous farms I've milked upto 400 cows, I've got a lot of livestock experience, from rearing calves, which have been fed on a machine, or fed though a wydale feeder, and looking after all young stock I'm happy at picking out sick calves/cows to bulling and lame cows,

I'm currently working in Oxfordshire, I'm looking for a tractor driving job, with a mixture of stock/dairy work, I like a good variation in work, and am very versatile, can put my hand to pretty much most things

Profile: Jack - I'm 30 years old, living with my partner which I have been with for over 9 years, we have just had our first child, and she is now 4 months old, befor our daughter was born my partner got very nervous about having a baby with out having our family around us, which made her want to move back to dorset, we spent a couple of months in dorset looking for work but after a couple of months we both realised it wasn't for us and enjoyed our lives away from Dorset we are currently back up in Oxfordshire. i loved my job and never thought i would ever leave Nettlebed estate as i had finally found my perfect job, it has made me realise exactly what i want out of my career. i felt i had to put my partners needs first, which ment sacrificeing my job, as she would need the support from family and friends when becoming a first time mum.

2000acre organic dairy farm, im head tractor driver, and do all the ploughing with 5 furrow plough, culturvating,drilling with a 4m parrow harrow drill, rolling topping, i do all the ground work, we currently grow wheat barley and oats, other jobs muckspreading mucking out cow sheds, cows were all loose housed and bedded down twice a day, though a straw chopper, I do all the TMR feeding and maintenance of clamps, I do all the tractor and machinery services and maintenance, other jobs calf rearing, relief milking 160 cows, bail carting, grass harrowing, grass seeding, fencing, chainsawing, maintenance of farm and estate, ive just finished my AI course, chainsaw trained, angle grinder and adbrahsive wheel trained, ive done my first aid course, have my ticket for an atv and telehandler ticket, vet & med course.  February 2016/October 2016 On a day to day basis, I would do the morning routine which I would start at 4am, Morning routine consisted of scrapping out and bedding down cubicles which was bedded with sand, changing cow groups around for milking, calf rearing, bedding down dry cows, cutting out silage ready for feeder wagon, routine visits, I did all the afternoon milking and everyother weekend, which we milking 250 cows though a 18/36 swing over parlour. Autumn and spring calving. I would treat any cows for mastitis, or any sick cows or calves. Stud Farm February 2014 / February 2016 On a day to day basis, I would do the morning routine which consisted of scrapping out and bedding down cubicles, then making up and putting feed out for the cows, I look after all young stock. Rearing calves and heifers. Jobs could vary from fencing to tractor driving ( topping, muck spreading, bail & grain carting & silaging. Relief milking on the weekends when herdsmen was a away.
