Farming background

Growing up in the Sussex countryside I have spent most of my life helping on neighbouring farms. I have a good working knowledge of animal husbandry, strong work ethic and willingness to learn. I am now looking to gain more experience across all aspects of agriculture especially improving my ability with machinery. I worked on a large scale extensive cattle, sheep and goat property in the Australian Outback NSW for 3 months as a general farm worker. Following this I worked in Canada on a feedlot and cattle research centre, I was also used as additional labour on the communal pastures and nearby farms during branding. Upon my return to the UK I have lambed the 2016 and 17 seasons in Somerset and North Yorkshire followed by shearing throughout the summer before weaning and marketing lambs in the Cheviot hills.

Shooting, beating, hill walking, horse riding, fishing, cycling, bee keeping.
