Farming background

I have been bought up in a farming family and have always been very interested in Agriculture, especially machinery. I attended Sparsholt Agricultural College, and have worked within Agriculture from the age of 16. My experience lies within Contracting and Arable work, which has enabled me to drive lots of different types of machinery, and given me the chance to do lots of different types of work. Such as fencing, spraying, drilling, foraging, baling and bale chasing. I have been involved with the growing and processing of crops for an AD Plant, and have used GPS data systems for yield mapping data, and High Precision Slurry Application Equipment. I take an active interest in Machinery and am very knowledgeable with all types, including the maintenance and repairs. I like a challenge, whether this be working with a new type of machinery or learning new skills associated with a role, and am looking for a role that will challenge me. I am just about to return to the UK from a round the world trip with my wife where I got to experience 6 months work on a remote cattle station in outback Queensland and a full harvest season in the central wheat belt of Western Australia driving a combine. The

Part of local young farmers club, and like to spend time with family and friends.
