I am currently working with a herd of around 500 dairy cattle. My duties include milking twice a day on a rotary parlour, skipping out and bedding up, cleaning the milking parlour after millkings and any other duties that are needed. I have experience working with a flock of around 250 sheep. My duties included checking sheep over for fly-strike, foot rot, mastitis and any other problems. Weighing lambs,loading lambs into the trailer,filling out paper work for slaughter house.other duties included worming and medicating sick sheep. I work in two educational based farms looking after a variety of Livestock ranging from alpacas, pigs, goats, sheep, poultry and I have worked with a Jersey bullock. I have experience hoof clipping, Milking, worming, medicating, lambing, farrowing and general upkeep of the stock.
