Farming backgroundFarm hand on a dairy farm Northern Ireland for George Hunter & Sons, I studied and worked on the farm, did everything from milking to calving and roof repair to tractor maintenance, slurry spreading to silaging and grain carting. De-horning, castration, calf rearing, bull beef rearing, medical treatments for prevention and cure of ailments such as fluke and worm treatments, milk fever and staggers treatment. Sycronisation for artificial insemination. Cattle clipping both heifers and of course milking cows, I have been responsible for milking while the family were at weddings and a like so can be trusted to get on with the job on my own.
