Looking for full time work after completing a dairy-based apprenticeship and currently working on an organic dairy farm of 550 friesian & jersey cross breeds. Work rearing heifers alongside frequent parlour and general farm work. Have some previous sheep experience and little pig and beef experience but happy to learn and work with any livestock.

Other qualificationsABRS examinations passed to level 3, a BTEC level 2 gained at D* and BTEC level 3 gained with Triple D* both in Animal Welfare and Management.

Other equipment experienceTaught the basics on machinery to complete day to day husbandry (straw chopping, filling and using a Keenan mixer, yard scraping etc.) Recently gained a certified rough terrain telehandler license.
Livestock experienceCalving, Lambing, Sheep, Pig, Beef, Dairy
Other livestock experienceMainly involved with the calving of a spring and summer block of Holstein-Friesian heifer calves on a 500 unit and a spring block of a 550 organic unit. Had college experience of working with intensive-housed sows, a small herd of Holstein cows, a small sheep flock and variable beef youngstock.
