Bailer - round, Wrappers - round and square, mower, rakes, tedders, bale trailers, muck spreaders, slurry tankers,TMR mixers, some cultivation work, worked on a fendt 936,930,939s on stabilising company in Nottinghamshire, used bedding machines be hind tractors and spread a bales on tele porters.

Currently got a farm at Gleneagles of 550 ewes but looking for a job as well. 2 years on lely robots a4 and a3s, relief milking in full wood 10/10 parlour. Last summer I was working for a grass contractor in Derbyshire which also had lely A4 robots,6 months of 2015 working on robot dairy farm Scottish borders running day to day of 150 Holsteins. (mastitis control, stomach pumping,cubical maintenance, etc.)  Never really got shown the in's and outs of the dairy cow as such, but am very keen to learn! Have never done foot trimming or AI but yet again keen to learn!

Farming background

Grandson of a farmer who has had own stock since age 11. Worked from age 14 evening and weekend milking on a 400 head dairy farm in Shottle. Traditional parlour, from 16 onwards worked as Seasonal Tractor Driver and Herdsman for a 100 cow herd using robotic milkers - also farm contractors. Lambing for grandfather and self.
