Youngstock Rearer / Shepherd - Cheshire - 250 cows

We have a fantastic, varied position which requires an enthusiastic and dedicated person to rear youngstock for a 250-cow dairy unit in the heart of Cheshire. Alongside this role you will carry out sheep work and have the responsibility for a lambing flock of around 150 mules.

The successful candidate:

• Good at working under pressure and particular eye for detail are essential


• Must have experience of tubing, feeding, spotting sick calves and be able to administer drugs correctly


• Previous sheep experience is also necessary, although help will be given in this area

There is a very lovely 4-bedroom house on-site, which is free of rent and rates.
