Hours: Full time

Salary: £22,578 to £27,768 (depending on experience) plus overtime

Location: Esher, Surrey

We have an exciting opportunity for a Sprayer Operator/Tractor Driver to join the PYO Farm team at Garsons Esher. Onsite accommodation available if required.

The responsibilities of this role include:

* Secondary and some primary cultivations.

* Seed drilling.

* Fruit and vegetable pesticide applications.

* All crop production work in conjunction with farm staff according to season, including plastic laying, hay making, fruit planting etc.

* Assisting with irrigation tasks, as required.

* Estate maintenance (including chainsaw work and grass mowing).

* Forklift driving and spraying, as required.

* Record keeping, including calibration settings, PPP and fertiliser applications, soil conditions etc.

The ideal candidate will have:

* Tractor driving skills to a high standard.

* Experience of seed drilling (preferably vegetable, but can be adapted from arable operations).

* Experience working in cultivation (including ploughing).

* Exceptional attention to detail.

The successful candidate will have PA1 and PA2 qualifications.

Additional preferred qualifications will include:

* PA3, PA4s, PA6

* Chainsaw

* Forklift

The successful candidate will need to be flexible and willing to work long hours when needed during peak season.
