We are a progressive, diverse rural business on the Cambridgeshire/Suffolk border farming 3000 arable acres, with an additional 500 acres in Stewardship and 500 acres of woodland. The business now seeks a skilled arable craftsman of the highest calibre to join its team.
Operating a mixed fleet of Fendt, John Deere, Case, Horsch and Claas machinery, with RTK GPS, the farm grows cereals, oilseed rape and sugar beet, with c.10,000t of modern grain storage.
Applicants must be able to demonstrate experience of large-scale arable farming and the energy and drive to deliver the best possible results. Minimum requirements include PA1, PA2 and PA4S & G, plus forklift certificate. Experience of sugar beet drilling is desirable.
The successful applicant is likely to undertake most spraying, drilling and harvesting operations and the remuneration package, to include occupation of a recently renovated, three-bedroom house, will reflect this level of skill and responsibility.
The farm machinery fleet includes a Claas Lexion 7700 combine, a Horsch Leeb 6.300 self-propelled sprayer, a Horsch Pronto 6m drill, and Fendt and Quadtrac power units.
