We are seeking an enthusiastic motivated shepherd/stock person/ tractor person to work on our West Highland hill farm. This is a permanent position. Our location is remote and is a very safe area to work and live. Ideal candidate will have their own dogs and should be able to work on their own initiative as well as part of our experienced team. We run 300 suckler cows and 2500 sheep. Tractor driving, including grass feed harvesting, calving duties, sheep & cattle husbandry including feeding and bedding as well as other routine tasks are the main core of the job and our farm manager will ensure that you are happy and confident with all duties that you will be required to do. We harvest our winter feed. A good work ethic and sense of humour is essential.

Weekly hours will vary as per requirements. An attractive remuneration package will be available for preferred candidate. A driving licence is essential and a works vehicle will be provided. Our location is very remote, Fort William, 1h 45mins, is our nearest urban centre, therefore please consider whether this is going to affect your application. On a plus side we are geographically fairly safe in terms of security of equipment and stock.
