We are a mixed family farming business with 600 acres of owned/rented/contract farmed arable land, together with further grassland for our herd of Suckler Beef cows with calves through to finishing. The business also has various diversifications.

The farm grows cereal crops, oilseed rape and sugar beet while also participating in Mid Tier Stewardship schemes. Keen to move towards more regenerative farming practices we have a Mzuri Strip Till drill which is used within the rotation along side min till and plough based establishment methods depending on the conditions.

A Full UK Driving License is essential with main responsibilities that include cultivations, drilling, fertilising & spraying, grain carting, hay & silage making. The successful applicant should have PA1, PA2, telehandler and also ideally have experience in machinery maintenance / workshop skills and some building work. Seasonally there will also be some livestock work looking after the herd of Suckler Cows and followers.

Attributes sought include enthusiasm; can do attitude; experience of modern farm machinery; close attention to detail; self-motivation as well as a team player. During the height of the season, you will need to be adaptable and flexible with regards to your working hours to include weekends.

An excellent remuneration package is offered. We do not have any housing on farm, however assistance to find and secure accommodation could be provided for the right applicant. Further training will also be offered to the successful applicant.
