Relief Milker required for holiday cover at the end of August 2023 for 4 - 7 days  - SY23, Ceredigion

Are you are are an experienced relief milker? Available for up to a week from the weekend 26th August. The role will involve being the main milker responsible for the day to day milking and feeding a small amount of Youngstock. We milk 95 cows twice a day through a 16 point herringbone parlour on a grazing system.

On our traditional farm, typically your day will be 5.15am - 9.30am, and then 3 - 6.30pm which involves:

• Fetching the cows with quad bike


• Milking


• Wash down


• Then 30mins spent feeding up to 10 baby calves, and feeding cake in bags to youngstock groups

Producing high quality milk, the right candidate will be a clean milker and confident to milk on their own. Candidates without milking experience with not be considered. A General farm worker will be completing most of the yard and other work.

Lovely Modern Detached Accomodation with garden is included. You are free to explore this beautiful area during the middle of the days. There are numerous beaches nearby.
