Family run farming business in North Hampshire, near Basingstoke looking for a dedicated and professional stockperson to join our team.

Our farming business comprises of 2 dairy units, beef and heifer rearing. We also contract manage a pedigree Hereford suckler herd and small flock of sheep.

Reporting to the family owners the successful applicant will take on the responsibility of the day to day husbandry of Hereford suckler herd, sheep flock and heifer rearing unit. In addition, the role will include assisting on a dairy unit from time to time and some relief milking.

The applicant will be someone with a proven track record, experience in livestock husbandry, who is well-organised and keen to take on responsibility to ensure the highest standards of herd health and welfare are maintained. Good tractor and telehandler skills are required. A positive, enthusiastic, and hard-working attitude is essential. You must be self-motivated and able to work on your own as well as within a team.

A full UK Driving Licence is required
