Pig Stockperson for a farm in Somerset (BA5)

The weaner unit has 1100 pigs, coming in at 6 kilos and leaving at 42 kilos.

We seek an individual, ideally with pig or livestock experience. Some agricultural experience is required, but we will provide further training to enthusiastic applicants with less experience.

Job description:

• Working with one other person


• Moving pigs


• Pressure washing


• Injecting sick pigs


• Care and welfare of the piglets

Salary: From £25,000 DOE.

Hours: Full-time, working every other weekend.
