We're recruiting for a Pig Stockperson for a unit in Lincolnshire, LN2.

Our client is a leading agricultural business specialising in breeding and rearing pigs to the highest Red Tractor standards.

Job Description:

Working on a weekly system with a breeding herd of 900-sow indoor unit to ensure health and wellbeing standards are met and exceeded from farrowing through to finishing.

Daily duties include feeding, vaccinating, moving and handling.

Loading and unloading pigs.

Completing and maintaining pig data and records in a timely manner.

Maintaining the condition and appearance of the farm to high standards.

Operating farm machinery/equipment.

Working in the sow house and the growing department would be advantageous.

Candidate Specifications:

Experience with livestock and an agricultural background is preferred BUT not essential.

A genuine passion for the pig industry and a commitment to animal welfare.

Strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritise duties effectively.

You must be self-motivated, possess a strong work ethic, and consistently strive to exceed expectations.

Due to the rural location, your own transport is necessary.

Salary: £12.21 per hour (overtime - £15.26)

Hours:

The job is a full-time, permanent position.

39 hours per week plus overtime available.

The working pattern is Monday to Friday.
