Cambridgeshire arable farm seeks a competent machinery operator

Full-time position.

Immediate start.

Overtime work is essential at peak times.

Work to include:

• Tractor: primary cultivation, subsoiling, ploughing, power harrowing, rolling, drilling


• Forklift/Telescopic handler work


• 360 excavator work, pipe flushing, etc


• Ability to carry out repairs


• General upkeep of the farm including, but not limited to: stores, residential properties, machinery, tracks, dykes, checking of Internal Drainage Board ditches and pumping stations for water levels and functionality, etc

Desired skills and qualifications:

• Previous experience operating large modern machinery on an arable farm required


• Full UK driving license - essential


• PA1 & PA2 - desired


• Telescopic handler license - desired


• PA4 - desirable but not essential


• PA6 - desirable but not essential


• Building experience and workshop skills are also desirable


• Solving problems independently will be necessary
