We are part of Spearhead International which farms over 90,000 Ha across the UK and Central and Eastern Europe. In the UK we farm in excess of 3,000 Ha, primarily in East Anglia but with operations also in Northumberland and the Scottish borders. Our primary focus is potatoes and beetroot and we are the largest grower of these crops in the UK. In addition, we grow onions alongside traditional cereal and sugar beet crops. With modern machinery and innovative regenerative farming practices, we are a dynamic and forward-thinking business and are always seeking out new and efficient technology and methods of working with crops and the land.

We have a short-term opportunity (June to October) for someone to manage our new Bunch Beet Business. This is a brand-new enterprise and will see us delivering 45,000 bunches of beetroot directly to customers each week.

The role will involve managing a team of pickers, meeting daily demand and targets and ensuring quality is up to spec. This is a great role for someone to gain some experience over the summer, working with a fantastic crop and excellent modern machinery.

The role will be based daily within 20 miles of Hasse and applicants will need to be able to be available 6 days out of 7 at peak time. (Time off in lieu given)

Applicants should have experience of tractor driving and ideally managing a team or harvester. Internal applicants welcome.
