We are a family run dairy farm based in south west scotland 25 mins from Carlisle, 600acres over 2 sites Milking 280 cows, currently in the process of expanding to 350 with all associated young stock, rearing our own dairy replacements and taking any beef bred calves to the approx 18 month store stage prior to sale.

all calves are reared in hutches or pens in shed

Duties to include TMR feeding with a bvl feeder, bedding both with a straw chopper & bedder bucket for green bedding also seasonal fieldwork

Currently running John deere & valtra tractors with weidemann handler

All aspects of maintaining levels of high cow health comfort & welbeing are given attention at every age & stage

Yard, tool shed and fencing maintenence

Hours are curently 8am to 5pm with weekend overtime every second weekend
