Fertility Manager - Shropshire

We have a new contract vacancy for a Fertility Manager on an award-winning farm near Shrewsbury in Shropshire. The family farm is a closed herd with 575 pedigree cows along with 360 youngstock producing a herd average of 13,500 litres. This exceptionally well managed unit has seen continued investment throughout. Cows are housed on sand bedded cubicles, TMR feed and milked through a 22/22 parlour.

Working alongside the herd manager you will spend a large amount of time walking through the cows spotting bulling animals, AI a large percentage of the herd and assist with other herd health related roles. In addition, you would be expected to do 3 milkings/week.
