We are a family run agri-business that has been established for well over 50 years. From a small mixed farm on the outskirts of the village of Papworth Everard. The partnership has now grown to include arable land in Cambridgeshire, Huntingdonshire, Bedfordshire & Norfolk. Based in Eltisley the business includes storage with grain drying, laboratory and Haulage.

Key activities to include:

• Daily maintenance checks


• Tractor & trailer work


• Fieldwork & cultivations to include drilling depending on time of season


• Assisting storage & grain drying facility when workloads necessitate

You will be required to work as part of a team, and also on your own. Due to the diverse business, you will experience a multitude of different tasks in all aspects of agriculture.

Skills and qualifications:

• Good experience of safely operating tractors, trailers and other large scale arable equipment


• To work in accordance with defined maintenance and health & safety procedures


• Previous agricultural experience preferable


• PA1 & PA2 would be beneficial


• Full clean driving licence

Working day:

• Monday to Friday (40 hours per week) plus overtime (when required)


• The working hours and individual daily tasks will be typical & varied for an arable farm of this size


• During the harvest period there will be longer working days, into the evenings and potentially a period of 7 days a week, depending on workloads and weather conditions
