An exciting and varied role has been created for someone to become a key member of our existing team. We are an exciting and progressive mixed farming business located in Essex between Ongar and Chelmsford. We grow over 300 ha of combinable crops and offer further contract farming services including umbilical slurry/digestate application. We also have a 600 sow unit (all indoors) with progeny then finished on the same site and another site in East Anglia. The business also has a few diversifications; food manufacturing, renewables, property, woodland, shoot and Countryside Stewardship.

The main responsibilities for this varied role include:

• Tractor Driving.


• Grounds Maintenance.


• Stock Duties.


• Workshop Duties.

This job would be well suited to an existing tractor driver that is looking for additional variety and responsibility. Further training, where required, will be provided. The candidate must be: passionate about their work, polite, a team player, motivated, willing to listen & learn, enthusiastic, positive and able to work under pressure.

Full UK Drivers License is essential. Please do not apply if you don't have this.

The role is very much a practical one so experience with machinery is essential. Experience of umbilical slurry application would be an extra advantage.

Experience with animals (particularly pigs) desirable.
