A permanent full time position has arisen for a skilled individual to join our team on a 3,000 acre family run, mainly arable farming Estate in south west Lincolnshire.

The key roles includespraying with our Bateman RB35 or RB26, cultivations and relief operation of our combines and grainstore.

Other tasks in peak periods will involve operating modern John Deere 6, 7 and 8 series wheeled and tracked tractors doing primary & secondary cultivations with a variety of Simba, Vaderstad and Kuhn equipment. Experience in operating Claydon Hybrid, Vaderstad Rapid and Kuhn Combination drills would also be an advantage.

Throughout the quieter and winter months the role would require the individual help out with other general farm & estate jobs like fencing, hedgecutting, ditching with a JCB JS130, woodland management, basic property maintenance and with the Shoot etc.

The applicant:

Must have a PA1, 2 etc

Full UK driving licence

Rough Terrain Telehandler licence

Experience in operating combines

Knowledge of JD Greenstar technology

Keen eye for detail

Willingness to learn

Able to work long hours when needed
