Our client is a diversified family-owned business situated on the edge of the Yorkshire Wolds near Scarborough, North Yorkshire.

We are seeking to recruit an enthusiastic, flexible and skilled arable operator for their 600 acre arable and mixed grassland farm where good facilities, modern machinery and technology to optimise performance are at the centre of the business philosophy.

The role requires an applicant who is experienced in all operations which might be expected of a progressive arable operation which also produces forage for the livestock enterprises.

Working as part of a small team and reporting to the business owners and external consultants, the successful candidate will be a good communicator and be able to work with minimal supervision whilst also keeping excellent records and maintaining a high standard of upkeep and maintenance of assets, property and machinery used in the enterprises.

A flexible approach to work and can do attitude is a must. The role also requires interest and experience with sheep and cattle finishing to provide support and cover to the beef and sheep enterprises where required.

A flexible remuneration package is available by negotiation.
