An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our family run arable, beef and contracting business. We are a 2000 acre beef and arable farm, with 180 suckler cows and offer a range of contracting services in the South East.

The job role will be varied throughout the season and will involve; primary and secondary cultivations, ploughing, fertiliser spreading, drilling, drainage, Combine and Forage Harvester driving. We run modern machinery, currently Fendt and John Deere tractors, all of which are autosteer. Claas grass equipment, Claas Combines and a self-propelled sprayer and JCB telehandler.

The applicant must have good mechanical experience and be flexible with their role. This full-time position requires the candidate to be enthusiastic, hardworking and self motivated, with attention to detail and the ability to work within a small team and good use of their own initiative. An understanding of health and safety is also essential.

You must have a full driving licence and hold a PA1, PA2 and telehandler licences. Ongoing training and development will be made available.

A good understanding of precision farming and record keeping is important.
