A fantastic and rare opportunity has arisen for a farm manager to join our team, to run one of our farms in the Congleton, Cheshire area, due to health reasons.

This is a perfect opportunity for someone ready to take the next step within their dairying career to managerial level or someone who is ready for a change to join our team. With the opportunity to become part of the farming business with an equity purchase.

We run a Spring block calving, grazing system. 370 cows through 24/48 swing over parlour. The job will entail the running of the farm, overseeing the small team on the farm, making the day to day decisions on the farm with regards to the cows, feed, contractors etc.

The right candidate will be passionate about dairy farming. Experience in block calving and grazing systems is key, with a love for cows and excellent animal husbandry skills. Must be honest, reliable and hardworking with an attention to detail. We are looking for an enthusiastic, positive person with great people skills who can also motivate and encourage other members of their team.

Ongoing training, development, encouragement and support will be given in the role.
