Assistant Herdsperson - 450 COWS - Shrewsbury

We require a keen, enthusiastic and hard-working person to join our team and work alongside our experienced herdspeople on a 450-cow dairy near Shrewsbury in Shropshire. The farm has great infrastructure and facilities and would be a great place for someone keen to learn or enhance their knowledge about grass-based dairy farming.

The role would involve milking, proactive cow health and welfare, general stock tasks and some tractor work alongside the other herdspeople.

You will have some background experience with livestock / machinery, but ‘on-the-job’ training will be given. This is a great opportunity for someone with drive and ambition to further themselves in the dairy industry and be rewarded for their hard work.
