We are a family owned and run arable business near Daventry on the Northants/Warwick border. We operate across 3 sites totalling approx 350ha of owned and contracted land and are potentially looking to expand our business. Due to retirement we are looking for a suitable candidate to join our small team.

The ideal candidate will be friendly, confident and happy to work on their own initiative or as part of a team. They will also be able to demonstrate a sound understanding of modern Health and Safety rules in a farming environment.

The candidate will be required to take an active roll in all areas of arable farm work. Whilst prior experience in these rolls is a plus training will be provided as needed.

Machinery based work on our range of modern equipment will include:

Self Propelled spraying using GPS section control (Kellands/Mcconnel Agribuggy)

Fertiliser spreading (Kverneland)

Harvest work including Carting & Combining (New Holland T7's and New Holland CX 7.90)

Cultivations/Rolling (Vaderstad, Dalbo, Mcconnel)

Drilling with GPS autosteer (Vaderstad)

Telehandler (Manitou)

Hedgecutting (Mcconnel)

Outside of peak times or over the winter period the candidate will be involved in grain store movement/management, estate management, general maintenance of equipment, ditch/fence maintenance, woodland management etc...

The successful applicant will require:

Full UK driving licence

Previous experience using tractors and farm machinery

Ideally PA1, 2 (PA4s/PA4g a bonus)

Telehandler licence

Experience of NH autosteer (or equivalent)

Chainsaw certification a bonus
