We are looking for a flexible and enthusiastic individual with experience of working in a varied agricultural engineering environment. We are a small, friendly company primarily involved in the supply, installation and servicing of irrigation water pumping and distribution systems on farms and in our rural workshop at Walshford near Wetherby.
This is a full time role which will include some outdoor work throughout the North of England, and occasionally further afield which may require staying away over night for which expenses will be covered. Some previous experience of basic welding and fabrication would be advantageous. A current UK driving licence with category B+E for vehicles up to 3.5t towing trailers over 750kg, or a willingness to work towards obtaining it, will be required. Company vehicles are provided for travelling to and from work sites but you will need to provide your own means of transport between home and our premises as our rural location means we are not well served by public transport.
Normally we work 40 hours per week, 8:00am to 4:30pm Monday to Friday with hour for lunch and 20 days paid holiday per year plus bank holidays. At times of peak workload, typically March to July, there may be the option to work additional hours by arrangement. We also operate a contributory workplace pension scheme for qualifying employees.
To find out more please call or email any questions, with details of your experience and why you think you would be suitable for this role, along with your contact details if you wish to be considered for interview either on the phone or at our premises.
