Tractor Driver job - Cambridgeshire
East & East Anglia

We are part of a group which farms over 90,000 Ha across the UK and Central and Eastern Europe. In the UK we farm in excess of 3,000 Ha, primarily in East Anglia but with operations also in Northumberland and the Scottish borders. Our primary focus is potatoes and beetroot and we are the largest grower of these crops in the UK. In addition, we grow onions alongside traditional cereal and sugar beet crops.

With modern machinery and innovative regenerative farming practices, we are a dynamic and forward-thinking business and are always seeking out new and efficient technology and methods of working with crops and the land.

We are seeking a Tractor Driver to join our East Anglia base (Soham, Cambs) where crops including beetroot, onions and potatoes are grown and harvested and then sorted, graded and stored. Duties will be varied and will adapt to meet the daily needs of the farm and yard - this could include field work depending on the season, unloading boxes with a forklift in a yard or moving and loading bulk crop around stores. Using a fleet of new machines and technology, including John Deere 6R and 7R series along with customised Grimme implements, Massey Fergusons and FastTracs, there is the opportunity to use a variety of equipment.

This is a fast-paced, busy environment with occasional long working days sometimes required and a great chance to be part of a small team.

Applicants should have experience of either tractor driving, forklift operating or other general farm vehicle work. Full training is available for non-experienced candidates with a desire to learn and expand their farming skills.
