Description

We have a 130 cow pedigree Beef Shorthorn suckler herd and 500 breeding ewes. We calve in March/April and lamb in late March. Our cows are fed with a feeder wagon on a silage/straw/sugar beet TMR.

Our current stockman has cancer and is undergoing treatment so we are seeking a full time experienced stockman for a period of 3-6 months whilst he recovers. Ideally to start in January, all our cows are inside and need feeding with our straw/silage/sugar beet TMR using a BVL feeder wagon. Then to take full responsibility for the calving and to assist with lambing.

2 bedroom furnished quality accommodation is available on farm.
