We are looking for an enthusiastic stockperson to join our 500-ha mixed family farming operation, near Spalding, South Lincs.

Our 300-cow herd of Limousin and British Blue cattle block calves in the Spring, and all calves are taken through to finishing. Our closed herd prides itself on its high health status, producing top quality commercial animals.

The appointed person will be working alongside the owner and be responsible for assisting with the day-to-day care and management of the herd. Ideally, they will show a willingness to assist with some of the seasonal tractor driving roles required on our own mixed farm.

The successful candidate:

• Good stockpersonship skills are essential


• Forward thinking andself-motivated


• Practical experience particularly in calving, animal husbandry and finishing cattle


• Car licence and tractor/telehandler skills are essential
