We are seeking an enthusiastic motivated shepherd/stock person to work on our West Highland estate and extensive hill farm. This is a full time secure position for the correct candidate. Our location is remote within a traditional farming and crofting community with good local amenities. Ideal candidate will have their own dogs and should be able to work on their own initiative as well as part of our experienced team. We run 300 suckler cows and 2,500 sheep on over 25,000 acres. Tractor driving, calving duties, sheep & cattle husbandry including feeding and bedding as well as other routine tasks are the main core of the job . A good work ethic and self motivation is essential to work as part of a long established team.
