We are looking for a seasonal worker to join our busy seed processing team in August through to the end of October 2025.

We are a family owned firm spread across two sites near Ashford. This role is based at our seed plant which processes in the region of 3500-4000 tonnes of seed per annum. Recent investment includes a new Sataki Colour Sorter, pre-cleaner and automation.

The core role is to support and work with our main operator, this will involve helping on the seed plant with setting up, calibrating, bagging and cleaning down. Working on our mixing facilities to produce environmental seed mixes,loading in and out, and general yard duties and maintenance. We try where possible to undertake as much engineering our selves, so if you enjoy fabrication in our quieter weeks we will do as much as possible ourselves. During our peak season we operate 12hour days Monday to Friday and half day Saturdays.

The candidate:

• Must be fit and strong


• Very good attention to detail


• Willing to work long hours during our busy season in Autumn


• Some agricultural experience required


• Ideally experience and tickets to operate telehandlers and forklifts although this is not essential.

Accommodation is provided with private bedroom, dining and sitting room. There is a shared shower and loo block. We can provide a car for short journeys. We are fortunate to be based next to a very good pub which does good food and drinks.
