Description

We are recruiting for a full-time, relief herdsperson and young stock rearer to work on our 250 cow dairy unit, 5 miles from Looe in SE Cornwall. All the calves from the dairy are reared on farm and the beef calves are reared to finishing.

The role involves relief milking, foot trimming, supervising and assisting with calving, heat detection, dry cow management, calf rearing and young stock rearing . We are looking for someone with dairy farm experience, who is confident milking independently and has calf rearing experience. There is provision for regular time off and competitive pay based on experience. A 3-bedroom house in the village is available. Current driving licence essential.
