We are a 3rd generation family business in East Yorkshire that is continually investing in its pig production facilities. We see a huge future within the livestock production sector and now seek an enthusiastic stock person/ technician to join the team to help keep the enterprise at the forefront of British pig production.

This role will involve working as part of our team in nursery, growing and finishing facilities.

On our 7000 place nursery and growing unit duties include:

• Intensive care for and establishment of nursery pigs


• Identification and treatment of ailing animals


• Provision of hygienic environments for pig growth


• Communicating problems to supervisors and helping develop workable solutions

The ideal candidate:

• An enthusiastic, proactive stockperson who sees problems before they develop


• Views IT as a positive aid to excellent stock husbandry


• Good knowledge of the full production cycle


• Pig livestock experience would be of value

A 3 bedroom family house on the farm is available.
