Are you looking to develop your career in Dairy Farming? We are looking to grow our team with the addition of a competent and conscientious Assistant Herdsperson to join our dynamic team based on our farm near Eccleshall in Staffordshire. If you have a passion for cows, grass and animal welfare, we'd like to speak to you. We are a 3rd generation family farm that has 600 acres of grazing platform, with a split block (300 Autumn and 100 Spring cows plus followers), a 24:48 herringbone parlour, well developed tracks and paddocks and we milk twice a day fully utlising the grazing system for milk production. You will be part of our friendly team working alongside our Herd Manager and the business owners. We are committed to the development of our team and you will be encouraged to build your skills and knowledge through discussion groups and further training. The farm is based a few miles outside the beautiful town of Eccleshall in Staffordshire with award winning schools a few minutes drive along with shops and leisure facilties. A range of employment packages are available by negotiation commensurate with experience.
