We are one of the largest Beef farms in the UK with 1000's heads of cattle. In order to apply you must have a genuine interest in Beef production. The role may suit someone keen to develop their knowledge of Beef. This is a family run business, you will be working alongside the owner and be part of a small team of 4. You must have an ability to do all job tasks and work off your own initiative :TMR feeding with a Keenan feeder, bedding up with a Teagle Tomahawk bale shredder, mucking out buildings periodically with a JCB, muck spreading, hedge cutting, sorting/selecting cattle to go to the abattoir, processing cattle coming in on a daily basis.

Applicants need to be motivated, reliable, trustworthy and be able to work as part of a team. Part of the job involves reading cattle ear tags, so applicants need to be very accurate with numbers. Part of the interview will include a numeracy test. This is a large progressive farm with the opportunity to grow within an expanding business. Flexible start date.
