Family farm requires an herdsperson to make the team up to 6. Milking through a 40/40 GEA parlour with auto ID and segregation and field to yield on also fitted with ADF.
The job will include milking either am or pm on alternate weeks within a team of 3 and milking every other weekend with every other weekend off and a day in the week off after your weekend on. You will be required to have foot trimming experience, calving/drying off experience, young stock experience, be able to work a paddock grazing system also a teleporter and quad bike licence would be an advantage, but not essential. The job does include taking your turn on night time checks and calving.
We are on RMS with the high yielders, housed all year round, but grazing 300 lower yielders. At certain times of the year there will be general farm work to help out at busy times.
Included is a 3 bedroom house 2 miles from the local villages and schools and 7 miles from the nearest town .This is a varied role for a team player who wants to progress their career and live in a lovely part of the countryside.

2 miles to the local primary schools in the area and 7 miles to the local town with Tee side and York 40 minutes away by car es to the local shops and towns and 45 minutes from york or middelsbourgh.
