We have an opportunity for a Herdsperson to join the team on a progressive Dairy/Arable farm in Hampshire. The Dairy unit is situated some five miles east of Winchester. The farm has ongoing investment plan into the unit which provides excellent facilities for both Cows and Staff. The herd of currently 500 Fr/Hol cows are milked through a 20/40 parlour with ADF with cows housed in modern sand cubicles, this together with very good handling facilities with auto shed and foot wash etc.

The person required is ideally a competent herdsperson with experience in milking and preferably AI and foot trimming skills. While a significant part of the job is milking you will be happy in carrying out all tasks associated with day-day operation of the unit.

The position also has the opportunity for further training and an opportunity to take on more responsibility.
