Looking for an enthusiastic team player to join our team milking 240 autumn-calving cows. Attitude and willingness to learn is essential; training will be offered to the right person for essential skills. The role is full time with a flexible rota.

About you:

• Excellent stockmanship skills


• Collaborative work approach, both with full time and relief staff


• Ideally be able to drive a telehandler, but training can be provided


• Practical dairy experience is important, but training can be provided


• Applicant must have the right to work in the UK

Role includes:

• Fetching cows in from grazing (Spring/Summer grazing, Autumn/Winter housed)


• Milking in a 32-point rotary parlour


• TMR feeding


• Administering medicines


• Record keeping


• Vet visits


• TB testing


• Drying off cows
