Position for an experienced herdsperson and partner to manage our 180 Xbreed, autumn calving cows near the lovely coastal town of Newport, Pembrokeshire. The herd is run on a simple NZ based grazing system with self-feed silage and in-parlour feeders, supplying milk to Arla.  

The partner’s role will be calf-rearing, keeping records, managing passports, and  providing assistance as necessary. The farm is linked to our other farm in the neighbourhood, with a friendly team providing assistance and relief of a high standard. The ideal candidates will be capable of a high level of independence, managing all day-to-day aspects of the herd and youngstock.

• Record keeping

The skills and responsibility required will be reflected in the package which includes the  5 bedroom Georgian farmhouse with views across Newport Bay.
