We are looking for an agricultural HGV class 1 driver with agricultural and estate skills.

We are a 2600 ac estate based in the Thames Valley at Maidenhead employing over 35 full time members of staff. The farming enterprises are 1900 ac arable farming, 2 Pick Your Own fruit farms covering 60 ac and a small beef enterprise. There is a wide range of diversified income with an inhouse construction and maintenance team employing over 20 people.

White Scania R450 with 2 weightlifter bulkers and Andover low-loader. John Deere tractors with Greenstar GPS. JCB forklift and diggers.

The job is part of the arable business, your time will be split approx.:

• 60% Internal HGV driving moving bulk commodities and low-loader work


• 30% Helping out with the arable harvest and drilling operations during peak times


• 5% Construction work and estate work driving 360 diggers


• 5% Workshop repairs and maintenance

You will manage the lorry bookings and work load to fit in with the business requirements.

The job would suit someone who is interested in farming and likes a variety of work.

The candidate:

• Experience with John Deere Green star for drilling and cultivations.


• Pa1 - Pa2 - Pa6 would be an advantage.


• Telehandler ticket for loading grain

We will invest in further training to fulfil the job role.
