Grain store Team Leader at Central Storage and cereal processing site - Northamptonshire
This is an exciting opportunity to lead a small team in a very central role to our growing business. The individual would be responsible for our 15 grain stores (40,000t) and all daily activities.
This includes managing a busy yard and maintaining good situational awareness, liaising with the lab staff, lorry drivers, production managers, the trading department and all individuals in the business. Leading by example is key to being successful in this role. Responsibilities also include managing a small team of staff with the following typical tasks:
-Loading lorries and assisting lorries tipping in stores
-Assisting in managing the fleet of JCB telehandlers/loading shovels and yard shunters
-Grain store ventilation & monitoring
-Grain store hygiene
-Liaising with pest control & other third party contractors
-Monthly stock assessments
