Full time general farm worker involving all forms of tractor work and beef and sheep production.

Looking to employ a full time GFW/Stockperson on a 1600ac mixed family farm in South Oxfordshire. Position will involve all aspects of farm work including general stock work, cattle and sheep work and machinery work.

We run a range of modern equipment including GPS and carry out nearly all operations in house. Candidate would be enthusiastic and have experience in large animal handling. Telehandler ticket and loading shovel experience would be an advantage. We carry out a large straw operation during the summer carting and stacking bales. TMR experience would be an advantage, we are looking for someone who can work well individually at a given task but also work well in a team.

Our 250 head suckler herd calves during the spring and autumn, and we finish everything on the farm. We have 400 breeding ewes lambing in two groups in Feb and April. All animals are finished for our farm shop. We also grow a range of soft fruit.
