Description

Due to retirement a position has become available on our Estate in Argyll with 60 Luing cross suckler herd, 1500 breeding Blackface and 90 Mules.

 

The candidate:


  • Experience in all aspects of livestock work, general tractor work for grass management plus usual maintenance tasks

  • Positive, cheerful attitude and a passion for farming

  • Able to work alone and as part of a small team

  • Full drivers licence and a good working dog

 

A competitive salary depending on experience plus pension.

A newly renovated three bedroom/ two bathroom cottage with position with outdoor shed and kennels. The cottage is in the process of been renovated and will include two wood burning stoves (logs can be used from the estate) and an ensuite shower room. A holiday cottage will be available until the works are completed.
