We are looking for an enthusiastic cowperson to work on our 600 acre organic dairy farm situated between Bath and Bristol.

The job will mainly consist of general farm work in the morning and then doing the afternoon milking for 160 herd of Holstein Friesians, eleven days per fortnight, in the 20:20 Boumatic parlour. The parlour is relatively new (2016) and works with SmartDairy/Herdmetrix. Other responsibilities will include heat detection, calf rearing, feeding, yard work, vet liaison, herd health and herd fertility.

There will be a 5.6 weeks/34 days holiday per annum. The successful candidate will work closely with the Farm Manager. The pay is dependent on experience of the applicant. There is no on farm accommodation available so a local candidate would be ideal.
