Description

We are a large arable and grain storage business with additional contract farming commitments, in North Yorkshire. Due to growth of the business, we are looking to recruit an additional member of staff to increase the team.

The primary role is Fertiliser spreading using variable rate application and primary cultivations, for an experienced operator there is also an opportunity to take on relief combine, spraying cover on self-propelled sprayer. Ongoing training and guidance will be given in day-to-day work. We are looking for someone who shows enthusiasm for the job and has an aptitude for working both alone and as part of a team. Someone who is happy to get involved in all varied aspects of the business, even though it may not be on their job description. You should have a conscientious approach to work, attention to detail and high standards.

PA1, PA2 and telehandler certificates would be an advantage. To put yourself forward for the role, you must have experience with operating agricultural equipment in an arable setting. This will be assessed as part of the interview process.
