I am self taught with my lambing experiences while helping my step father with his flock during lambing season. I have some experience with cattle helping with feeding and moving them. At my current job, I have gained some pig experience with feeding and bedding up.

Yard Manager September 2022- current.
I am currently working as the yard manager for two sites. I manage three teams across different departments, I liaise with other departments within the sanctuary such as vet team, HR, maintenance and sanctuary owner. I plan and organise what tasks need doing daily on the site I am based at. I am responsible for doing weekly stock take and ordering of animal feed, I am responsible for site walks which include checking animal health, their care and wellbeing and report any issue to the vet team, I support vet team where necessary with the administration of any medication or assist with treatment. I work with horses, cattle, sheep and pigs and also small animals. I am competent with driving a basic tractor and trailer attached. I also am involved with any animal handling and movement required around our sites across north Norfolk such as loading and unloading large animals onto and off of trailers etc. I am also responsible for any other managerial and workplace practice duties checking vehicles for safety. HR related duties includes rotas, annual leave.

stock person on large, looking after horses + cattle. This involves making feed, feeding, mucking out, assisting in loading the animal, assisting the vet staff with giving out medication holding horses for treatments. Driving the tractor with trailer attached, general yard tidying, water tank cleaning and doing late checks.
Volunteering Farm hand June 2020- November2022. I have volunteering and helping with day-to-day jobs this has included feeding, bedding up, general maintenance, going out to do checks on Cattle + Sheep and dealing with deadstock. Rounding up sheep to be sheared. Helping move sheep + cattle from one site to another and setting up electric fencing. I have helped during the lambing season this involved checking on the ewes, assisting ewes with birthing if needed and assisting with orphan lambs.
