I voluntarily attended extra days and stayed late at Northumbria College during my Agriculture course so that I could gain more experience, knowledge and skills in the day to day running of the farm.

I completed 3 weeks work experience in North Yorkshire where I worked with pigs and cattle, using the farm machinery on a daily basis such as tractors and JCB loaders.

I also used the feed wagon to feed the animals and the straw blower.
